That's The Way We Get By

I have well over a hundred photos to post…why does this suddenly feel so daunting? I’ll post tomorrow.

The places I’ve been and the things I’ve done in the past two days:

Thursday
*Naperville (Girls night out)

Friday*Elmhurst (Cut down a tree for my grammy)
*Andersonville (bought a slurpee, drank outta my moo cup, and petted dogs)
*Sheridan stop (Shawn, Max, Evan, and Devin’s…and Siera, Lauren, and Carrie’s)
*Fullerton stop (transfer to stupid bus that took forever)
*Logan square (hung out in bar with drunk people and watched Shawn play)

Saturday
*Andersonville (woke up spooning with a daschund named Scamp)
*South loop (took a train)
*Naperville (sat in grass outside of station and saw Geoffey…his car died…bad things happen to such good people)

I spent tonight being tackled by two three year old girls screaming, “Emmy!” And playing risk and talking about the war in Iraq with a ten year old. They all went to bed though and that’s the worse when you’re watching kids. I hate just sitting alone…but this time it was okay. I watched Breakfast At Tiffany’s and fanaticized…it was bittersweet to say the least, shortly followed by Harold And Maude…a personal favorite always and forever.

Now I’m home documenting all this so I can look at this a week from now and remember what I actually did…if you read this whole thing you must be a good friend…thank you for that I hope I return that kind of friendship to you!

P.S. The moon is the lowest in the sky that it will ever be in this year. I went on a tiny walk all alone in the darkness and examined it...it did seem to be so...the smokey smell of outdoors just reminded me how alone I really am sometimes...ew downer...remind me to remain indoors from now on when it's dark.
